Love & Hip Hop New York Returns For A Fifth Season, Two-Part Reunion Hosted By Mo’Nique Airs In February!

Now that the regular season of Love & Hip Hop is over, the two big questions on everyone’s mind are:

1. Will there be another season? and

2. When does Atlanta come back?

Well, we have answers to those questions and more.

To start, we can happily tell you all that Love & Hip Hop New York will return for a fifth season, which begins filming later this year. That should satisfy the 4.2 million viewers who tuned in to the season finale this Monday. And as for Atlanta, that show will be returning for a third season this May, so you can turn your attention back to Stevie J now that Peter Gunz is done.

The two-part reunion for the current New York season will air on February 3rd and 10th and in case you haven’t heard, the one and only Mo’Nique — yes, that Mo’Nique — will be hosting. “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” Season 3 Will Premiere on VH1 May 2014

NEW YORK, NY – January 30, 2014 – On Monday, January 27th, VH1 wrapped up the highest rated season yet of the network’s hit series “Love & Hip Hop NY” with a finale that scored a 2.0 in the key adult 18-49 demo and attracted 3 million total viewers. When combined with the 10:00 PM ET/ PT encore, 4.2 million total viewers tuned in to the season four finale on VH1 Monday night.

VH1 is continuing that momentum by picking up a fifth season of the series, to begin production in New York City later this year. Additionally, the smash hit “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” will return to VH1 for a third season May 2014.

This season, the “Love & Hip Hop NY” Live + Same Day average premiere rating among adults 18-49 is up +54% over last season’s average. The series also ranked as the #1 non-sports cable program in its time period among adults and women 18-49 and 18-34. On average, “Love & Hip Hop NY” premiere episodes attracted an average of 3 million total viewers, with a 2.0 adults 18-49 rating. “Love & Hip Hop NY” dominated social media on Mondays. The season finale this week yielded a total of 27 trending topics, and ranked as the #3 most social show on all TV and the #3 most social show on all cable. During the finale, 82,000 unique tweeters generated 226,000 total tweets. Over the course of “Love & Hip Hop NY” season 4, the show averaged 140,000 tweets per new episode. (Source: SocialGuide)

Justin Bieber Responds To DUI Arrest By Comparing Himself To Michael Jackson!

What do you do when you’ve been arrested for driving under the influence and drag racing in a major American city? Well, if you’re 19-year-old Justin Bieber, you compare yourself to Michael Jackson. Bieber has issued his first comment since Thursday’s early morning arrest in Miami Beach in the form of an Instagram photo likening himself to the King of Pop. This of course follows the Bieb sitting atop a car to wave to all the fans who waited patiently for his release from jail. Always remember the little people, kids.

It’s not the first time that Bieber has been so bold as to compare himself to Jackson. But unlikeKaty Perry and Beyoncé, he has yet to acquire the chart success or stage presence to legitimize these claims. Bieber also captioned this photo with “What more can they say,” which either means he’s shaky on the lyrics to a cut from Jay Z‘s The Black Album, or he’s fed up with the media scrutiny his latest incident has gotten him. (I’m sure MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell really didn’t want to talk about your story either, Justin, but we all have bills to pay.) But, Lil Bieb may have a right to fire back. TMZ reports that Bieber’s blood alcohol level at the time of the incident was .014, not .04 as police originally reported on Thursday. (The legal limit is .08.) Pair this with Miami’s reputation for faulty po-lice, and Team Bieber might have found just the loophole they’d hoped to gain in order to paint their boy as innocent. Or, at least as less stupid than he originally seemed.

Why Isn’t Nicki Minaj Happy With Her ESPN Cover Photo?

We’ve seen what can unfold when bad magazine covers happen to beautiful people. But rarely do we get reactions from the stars themselves, whose bodies have been altered and airbrushed to unattainable perfection by strangers. Current cover girl Nicki Minaj took to her Instagram account on Thursday to call out ESPN magazine for retouching her image featured alongside Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant for the magazine’s music issue. Her take? “When retouching goes wrong.”

“I love my personal unretouched photos where my forehead doesn’t mysteriously grow in length,” Nicki wrote along with supportive emojis to unite all those who have also fallen victim to the unapologetic actions of a major media outlet’s design team. Considering Nicki knows her forehead better than anyone, we’ll allow her to have a preference for cover images and shake our fists angrily at those who dare threaten the Minajesty. But we still can’t get into this red monstrosity from the 2012 Grammy Awards. (Sorry, girl.) Nicki also uploaded some additional shots from the shoot, including a look at Kobe in the makeup chair. Consider this a huge find for any Laker haters in need of more ammunition for trash talk.

Nicki may not have liked being at the mercy of the magazine, which is why she should continue to be ever so thankful for Instagram, and the power to post incredibly sexy selfies whenever she likes.

Ke$ha Sends Message To Fans From Rehab: 'Party On'

Apart from her explanation that she needs to "learn to love myself again," when 

Ke$ha checked into rehab earlier this month, not much was known about what started 

her battle with an eating disorder. But no matter what caused it, the star reassured her 

fans on Tuesday (January 21) that she's getting better.

According to a message posted on the pop star's Twitter account, Ke$ha's stay at Chicago's Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center doesn't allow her access to social media, but that doesn't mean she couldn't pass along an update through a friend. "THANK YOU. SOOO MUCH. I'm overwhelmed to tears by all of the love, letters, and support!! I'll be back soon and better than ever," the tweets read.

Even though the 26-year-old singer is focused on her recovery, it seems like her lively spirit is still intact. "she can't believe Timber is still number one!," the message read, referring to the singer's collaboration with Pitbull. "Fck YEAH animals! PARTY ON!!!!"

 a statement to MTV News earlier this month, the singer wrote, "I'm a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself, but I've found it hard to practice. I'll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder ... to learn to love myself again, exactly as I am."In an interview with People shortly after Ke$ha was admitted to Timberline Knolls, her mother, Pebe Sebert, suggested that it was her team's bullying that ultimately led to her daughter's battle with bulimia. "[Producer] Dr. Luke told a friend of ours he thought she looked like a refrigerator on her latest video, and could she please try to control her weight," Sebert said. Dr. Luke later said Sebert's claims were "completely false."

Shortly after the public battle, Sebert checked into the same rehab center for post-traumatic stress disorder.

Amber Rose Spotted Having Bonding Time With 11-Month Old ‘Bash’

It was all about mommy bonding for Amber Rose  yesterday as she enjoyed a nice quiet day alone with her  11-month-old son Sebastian Taylor aka ‘Bash.’ The model-turned-full time mom was spotted at a playground in Malibu holding on tight to the cheerful toddler who is growing twice as fast as most kids.
Earlier this year, when Bash was just 4 months, Amber told MTV News that he was wearing clothes that fit a 6-month-old, and two months later, she revealed on Instagram:

My Munchie is only 7 months old and wears 12-24 months clothes! He’s such a big boy…. He was born big.

With parents that are 6’4, and 5’9, it wouldn’t be surprised if the couple have a future athlete on their hands.

JWoww reveals she's been losing weight from morning sickness during pregnancy: ‘I have been feeling hungover every day’

Jenni (JWoww) Farley, pictured on Dec. 13 in New York City, has already had a terrifying miscarriage scare during her difficult pregnancy.

Like the rough seas of the Jersey shore, Jenni 'JWoww' Farley's pregnancy is leaving her quite seasick.

"I was put on Zofran because I lost nine pounds in three weeks," she told E! News. "I have been feeling hungover every day or I'm hugging the toilet."

Although the "Jersey Shore" alum is now four months into her pregnancy, it's been a trying time from the start. Aside from feeling extreme nausea she also had a miscarriage scare.

"I saw blood and panicked," she described on her website. "I felt a loss like no other when I thought that I was no longer pregnant."

But after taking a "stupid proof test" she confirmed she was expecting and immediately became overjoyed with emotion.

"I cried and Roger looked like he was going to pass out!" she wrote about finding out she'd be a first-time mom while attending a tanning convention in Nashville.

JWoww posted a photo to her blog of her pregnant stomach. She says she's been having a rough time with nausea.

"I was on cloud nine," she continued. "I also want to apologize to anyone in Nashville because I was super nauseous and super happy, which probably made me look like a crazy person!"

In fact, the 27-year-old reality star was so sick that she "pretended to have food poisoning" in order to not give anything away.

To subdue the morning sickness, Farley had to change her diet as well as taking the anti-nausea medication she was prescribed.

Although her fiancé Roger Mathews is supportive, he uses her new dietary restrictions as a way to prank her.

"Every morning, Roger gets me water and a bowl of cereal but as a joke he always puts something in my cereal," the "Snooki & JWoww" star said. "Last week, I got a prune then a baby carrot and then a hardboiled egg in its shell."

Ashlee Simpson is preparing to walk down the aisle a second time!

Jessica Simpson's younger sister said yes to boyfriend Evan Ross's proposal, she confirmed on Twitter Monday night.

Ciara announces pregnancy on ‘The View’ by revealing burgeoning baby bump!

The 28-year-old singer, who got engaged to rapper Future in October, set the record straight about pregnancy rumors on "The View" Tuesday.

"Everybody's saying to me, 'You gotta ask, you gotta ask,'" co-host Barbara Walters said. "There are rumors about pregnancy. Do you want to confirm?"

"Of course I would love to," Ciara said before standing up to cradle her baby bump that was covered up while she sat on the couch with the ladies of the hit daytime talk show.

According to E! News, the couple's rep confirmed the breakup in a statement:

What caused Hilary and Mike to separate?

According to a source, the couple "drifted apart over time," E! News reports, even though they attended couple's therapy.

A source close to Hilary told People.com: "There was no major incident--no big event between the two of them. They really did drift apart. They have put effort and thought into this decision for a long time. They tried couples therapy, but in the end, they realized at this time, they work better as friends. And they really are great friends."

The insider added that it was not "a rash decision," adding, "It's something [Hilary] thought through. She really does care about him and he really does care about her."

Hilary and Mike were marred in August 2010 and their son, Luca Cruz, was born in March 2012.

Ludacris’ Baby Mama: ‘I Ask That The Negativity Stop’

Over the holiday break, while folks were making New Year’s resolutions and renewing their gym memberships to bring in the coming year right, a lot of messy celebrity relationship situations came to light, including the story of Ludacris having a baby with a woman who was not his longtime girlfriend. As each day goes by and more and more accusations are being thrown around by both parties, it poses the question: “How did this even happen to begin with?”

To play catch up (since we were on break), an old friend of Luda’s by the name of Tamika Fuller had a baby girl in December, and weeks later the public found out after Ludacris filed court papers claiming paternity for the child but requesting that his child support payments be capped at just under $1800 a month. (She fought back in her own papers saying that he spends $12,000 on pets and lawn care so clearly he could pay more for a child.)  It has also been revealed that Luda filed papers requesting a gag order on Tamika back in September so that she would keep the pregnancy under wraps, and he claimed she tried to extort him by asking for a car and $7500 for her lawyer fees to keep quiet.

Now, Tamika is speaking out in an attempt to tell her side and she took to her social media yesterday to set the record straight.  She says despite what the media and blogs are reporting, she’s not some money hungry former stripper trying to extort Ludacris. She also reveals that he has yet to meet their child and she’d like for all of the lies to stop so that the two can come together and co-parent.

It saddens me that it has come to this. I did not file on him. Nor would I ever try to attempt to extort my child’s fathers. Ive never asked him to buy me a car. I had engine trouble. I asked to borrow one of his during my pregnancy so that I could continue 2 get 2 work.
I have never been a stripper. I did waitress there in my past. I have since moved on from that. Some of the best people I know are dancers.
She has yet to meet her father and it’s unfortunate because I would never keep him from seeing her. Let’s not lose focus that an innocent child is involved and her best interests come before any of all of this foolishness.
In spite of all that has already happened I just ask that the negativity stop towards him and I. We have a child to co parent. Be blessed.

It can be assumed that the two at least liked each other or were attracted to each other enough to lay down together (despite Luda’s circumstance of having a longtime girlfriend).  It was even reported that they are old friends. They conceived a baby, so how they are now at this crazy place of fighting over child support and the father not seeing his child yet is kind of disappointing and typical. From some people, you just expect better.

The biggest lesson that stems from all of this is, “Wrap it up kids!” Safe sex and monogamy could have prevented all of this.

Hopefully, they are able to work it out, at least for the sake of the child.

Is Keyshia Cole Calling Out Her Husband On New ‘Loyal’ Freestyle?

Keyshia Cole is back on the music scene and she’s potentially spilling her own tea — all while returning to her roots as one of the modern day queens of R&B heartbreak anthems.

Earlier today, she dropped a new freestyle to Chris Brown’s “Loyal,” which features Sean Kingston and YMCMB frontman Lil Wayne and she isn’t trying very hard to dispel rumors that husband Daniel “Boobie” Gibson’s wandering eye has caused trouble in their marriage.

Coincidentally, Daniel, who’s currently without an NBA team to call home after being dumped by the Cleveland Cavaliers last year, had a troublesome 2013. Aside from potentially losing his wife, the ball player was arrested last March and charged with assault for allegedly breaking a man’s jaw during an altercation at Essence Music Festival.

Back in October, Keyshia attempted to silence divorce rumors when she uploaded the birthday present Boobie bought her: a gift certificate for a 10-day stay at Atlantis Paradise Hotel in the Bahamas. But then the next month, the couple were on Instagram, sending what many believed were subliminal shots toward each other.

Whatever’s going on between the two, it’s giving Keyshia a whole lot of material to work with, that’s for sure!
