The reality star claims producers wanted her to script her life on the third season of the hit reality series, The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Lisa Wu Hartwell told VIBE.com that producers of RHOA wanted her to exaggerate aspects of her life for the sake of ratings.
She claims:
“They have an idea of who they want you to be and you can only take that for so long and that’s why I said it’s time to go because I’m not willing to compromise my integrity. It’s like all Black people don’t act this way and it’s unfortunate that we feed into those stereotypes sometimes. I understand you don’t want to watch paint dry. I get it. But it’s a fine line between performing and acting a’fool. I had very real moments, I got upset on the reunion show but at the end of the day there’s a time and a place for everything. I have other aspects of my life that are interesting as you can guess but this is reality you’re not gonna tell me what I should focus on. So it comes a point where the pressure from the producers; they want to keep those ratings high so they’re like this is what’s going on this season and I’m like wait a minute, this is supposed to be reality television and some things I’m not willing to compromise. You have to have integrity and stand up for what you believe in and I refuse to create things that are not there for the sake of their ratings because I still have to live my life when the show is over.”
It’s a nice little speech, only still current cast member Sheree Whitfield has blasted Lisa Wu.
She told BET.com:
“I know for a fact that’s absolutely not true. The show is totally not scripted. Personally, I think maybe she didn’t want to be the person she really is. Maybe that was the problem or she pretended to be perfect — nobody’s perfect.”
A lot of people agree with Sheree Whitfield . From the Keith Sweat suit to him preventing their two children from going on the show, there seems to be more behind the scenes than Lisa ever wanted to show. Which is fun, but on a show like that might not work. She’s sweet, though, and seems to be getting roles. So make that money & don’t let it make you (Playas Club)
Gurl Bye: Sheree and Lisa haven’t liked each other since Lisa started copying off of her, when Wu created that cheesy version of a fashion show (I'm sorry, a Fashion viewing). Where I would rather continue wearing Rainbow clothes before I would wear anything off of Wu fashion line. Cause honey as soon as you would wear Wu clothes outside you’ll either freeze to death or that cheap fabric would stick to yo skin, cause that was some thin & cheap azz fabric that gurl had. So yes, I kinda do believe Sheree anyday before Wu, cause in the first 2 seasons Wu acted as if she only had 1 baby boy, when she has 4 all together. But her ex-husband Keith Sweat makes sure to keep those kids away from her, cause he has made plenty of allegations stating that Wu, “Is on a concoction of drugs and was very unfit to take care of her own kids”. And when I seen that I was kinda mad because how you gone act like you and your life is so picture perfect when indeed you have more than 1 child, and every time Nene would say (ex: 4 the Derek Blanks photo shoot), “Wu I know you got that bad gurl inside you somewhere”, and Wu response would be” I have no idea why people say that, I mean I'm a long way from being bad”. Well where I'm from if more than one person says that then it must be true, honey scoop!But on the other hand I miss Wu and I wish she would just be herself and the rest is history.
Nevertheless, Whitfield has a lot of drama in her life so she has no room at all to move side ways on Wu. How in the world you going to say that you’re a Real Housewife of Atlanta (whom all the housewives are suppose to be rich or live a wealthy lifestyle) when all she take about is $ this, and $ that when what she got=0 
. After the 1st season Bob Whitfield (ex-husband/babydaddy) didn’t pay the mortgage supposedly on purpose when he got millions of dollars, and I know they dislike each other but why would he want to be that evil & spiteful, and what to see his kids be homeless & pitiful. And I'm quite sure that if Bob did something that scandalous on purpose than she wouldn’t forgive him for doing something like that to the kids and her & in the new place im quite sure he would do the samething. To the point where she had to beg Kim gay friend to live in a million dollar condo for free which of course she denied. Then season 2 & 3 it looks like she has her stuff together cause she won: In the settlement Sheree gets custody of the couples two children, along with $2, 142 a month for child support. She also gets a 2006 Range Rover Sport, $250,000 of her ex’s 401k plan and some shares of 3 other NFL retirement plans. And she also gets two lump sum payments that will total $775,000=a lot of dam $, but Sheree has been fraudulent. Who goes out and buy a Aston Martin 
which estimates at $207,000, and when they came and repossessed her car Whitfield stats “oh, it’s just a car. I’ll get another one. But
According to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, Weinstock & Scavo filed a civil lawsuit against Whitfield in the Fulton County Superior Court on June 10th, for unpaid fees totaling $96, 190.18. This is the second firm of attorneys that Whitfield has worked with over the course of the divorce, since 2007. Prior to ’07, Whitfield worked with attorneys from Levine & Smith, who also filed a lawsuit for outstanding fees of more than $87,000 in early 2009.
The details of the lawsuit are as follows:
I mean when you get your house taking from you, then your beautiful Aston Martin, then your paychecks taking away because you owe the same people whom helped yo ungrateful azz in the 1st place to win that big settlement against your ex-husband, and that’s the thanks you show them. I mean that’s kind of scary, for a grown woman to not understand the word prioritizes and responsibility. At what point in your life do you say ok, “all this fake stunting is putting me in the hole everytime I try and take a step forward I’ll take another 3 steps backward. She have young kids to think about, and when you try and keep up with the joneses it just makes you look like an azz, and who are you trying to fit in with or be like or impress. Yourself or others, c’mon son grown up PLEASE. So which of these chicks do you guys/gals think moves more covert, Mrs. Lisa Wu Hartwell or Ms. Sheree Whitfield?The impetus for this lawsuit came after Bob Whitfield sold property in Atlanta last October. He wrote in court documents that he needed to sell the property to finish paying off his original $775,000 divorce settlement agreement with Whitfield he signed in 2005.
Weinstock & Scavo recorded a lien on March 19, 2009 in favor of the firm for unpaid attorneys’ fees and expenses owed by Sheree. The law firm claimed Bob Whitfield and the people buying his property were aware of the unpaid attorney’s lien but chose to ignore it.
In citing breach of contract, the law firm said “Ms. Whitfield has acted in bad faith, has been stubbornly litigious and has caused W&S unnecessary trouble and expense entitling W&S to an award of attorneys’ fees and costs of litigation in connection with this case.”
