Chief Keef Locked Up For Gun Range Interview!

Chicago judge ruled gun handling a violation of 2012 probation.

Chief Keef

Chief Keef has built a budding rap career off bullying raps and the real-life drama that often inspires his music and accompanying videos. Unfortunately for the teenage breakout, the same air of danger has landed Keef in jail on Tuesday (January 15).
The "I Don't Like" rapper, born Keith Cozart, was taken into police custody after a judge ruled that he violated his probation, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. The ruling comes just a month after the teenaged Keef released his major-label debut Finally Rich on December 18 and a year after he was sentenced to 18 month-probation for pointing a gun at a Chicago police officer.

Last June in an online video interview with Pitchfork, Keef visited a gun range and was seen handling a firearm. The video has since been retracted, but on Tuesday Judge Carl Anthony Walker said that Keef showed a "willful disregard" for the court and he is now being held until Thursday when he will face sentencing. Keef's attorney Dennis Berkson defended the rapper arguing

that the video was strictly for promotional purposes and that he was on private property, but he couldn't not sway the judge.
Keef, who was present at the hearing didn't testify nor did he address the judge during the two-hour hearing.
After he broke through in March 2012 with the gun-waving music video for his standout single "I Don't Like," Chief Keef took the rap world by storm. Labels lined-up to sign him and artists flocked to collaborate with him. Kanye West would famously remix "I Don't Like" and use the reworked version as a track on G.O.O.D. Music's Cruel Summer compilation. Yet for all of his building rap fame, Keef also got into a bit of trouble including a brief Twitter beef with Lupe Fiasco and then saw his name come up after the murder of rival rapper Lil Jo Jo.
"Chief Keef is a young boy from Chicago that came through the struggle," he told MTV News in third person back in August. "He's got his own style. He ain't like everybody else. He talks about what's real. He been through hell and back."
Whether or not he can bounce back from this however, remains to be seen.

i swear either I'm psychic or I'm jus a GREAT judge of character, but i swear on erything the otha day otha nowhere. I was surfing the net & say sumthin about chief keef & i said: that boy either gone end up in jail within a couple of months or end up dead. And all these kids thats ending up dead that chief keef knew or know, isnt jus a coincidence. Not saying that Chief Keef had anything to do with them, but i am saying that rather he has set sumone up or not it doesnt matter anymore, cause his haters will make up anything jus to give em a reason to murk him. Because jus by Chief Keef being: in a gang, young & ruthless, got 1 foot in the streets & 1 in the music industry, has talent, still resides in a ruff part of Chicago (which if he doesn't hav to do any real time in jail, he should wrk his azz off. Because then the more he travel the less drama & stacking up those racks can help him and his fam too get outta there quick, even if its up the street to Ohio, etc), been had millions of enemies b4 the fame because of his reckless actions, but most of all because he has MONEY. MONEY+GANGS+ENVY=another talented CHILD dead in Chicago. P.S. Where the hell is the momma? (we know the daddy aint around) What the hell is she doing? if she says anything at all. Im sry but I dnt give a dam if my son a star, grown or whatevr, I'm goin to be all up & in his business. And I know these parents cant hold their child hand every minute of the day, but when u find drugs and guns in ur household that doenst belong to the parent, then it is a issue. When ur watching ur 17 or 18 yr old son in videos with guns & even a blind man can see what "he's repping in the streets", then its a parent issue. When u as a parent allow ur teenage son to come & go as he wants, to disrespect u with all those dam curse words & shitz, then thats when I say its a parent issue as well. We no of course, alot of the problem is absentee fathers, ok nothin we can do about that so lets get over it & deal with sumthin we can fix. Like these single mothers out here having 7 dam kids by the age of 30yrs old, havin to leave the kids at home while she wrk 10 jobs jus to make it. Or the ones who dnt wrk & get: welfare, wic, foodstamps, HUD, SSI, etc, sitting in the house all day but worried about where they bum azz nig at, while her kids running the streets. The problem starts with us, because if our foundation is rocky how r we suppose to build a stable structure on shaky grounds? Shitz, if these parents these days cant even get up off they lazy azzez & go to parent teacher conference, why the hell u think they ask their kids questions? But when their burying their teenage child (def when they knew they had such a bright future such as Chief Keef's), thats when they finally start to ask many Q's then, when its obviously to late. Yo lazy azz couldnt even go to yo child's 1st basketball game cause u wanted to stay at home with ol' boy & smoke u sum "kush" & "patron". But now that yo child been murdered u demanding answers to ur too late questions!

 PARENTS LETS WAKE UP~
