Network Announces Season 11 Returning To Miami In Summer 2013
NEW YORK– March 13, 2012 – Oxygen Media takes the rivalry outside the mansion and onto the playing field with the greenlight of “Bad Girls All Star Battle.” Hosted by musician, actor and heartthrob Ray J, this one hour series will pit 14 of the biggest names in “Bad Girls Club” history under one roof to compete for $100,000 and title of “Baddest Bad Girl of All Time.” In addition, the network announced Season 11 of “Bad Girls Club” will return to Miami for a Summer 2013 premiere. In its tenth season to date, “Bad Girls Club” ranks as the #1 most social cable reality show in primetime and positions Oxygen as the #2 cable network in the 8 pm hour among women 18-34. The “Bad Girls All-Star Battle” will combine the baddest girls from past seasons in an all-out mattress dragging and weave-pulling competition. Split into two teams; the girls will be pushed to the absolute limit each week in a series of fun and over-the–top physical and mental challenges. Each week, these memorable femmes will go head-to-head in the Captain’s Challenge, an individual competition earning control over the team and protection from elimination, and a Team Challenge, testing these feisty ladies skills at working together. While the losing team nominates two players to go up for elimination, the winners of the Team Challenge will get immunity, a night out at the club, and will decide which player to boot. Will these notorious ‘Bad Girls’ be able to work together as a team or will they let their egos get the best of them?
Singer, songwriter, actor, entrepreneur, host and reality TV star, Ray J has parlayed his daring and often controversial profile into a successful career and positioned himself as a contemporary renaissance man. Ray J’s multiple albums Ev’rything You Want(Elektra), This Ain’t a Game (Atlantic), Raydiation (Knockout Entertainment) and All I Feel (Knockout Entertainment) have sold millions of copies and produced a string of stirring chart-topping hits including “Sexy Can I” and “One Wish.” His hit reality TV show, “For The Love Of Ray J,” which he served as co-creator and executive producer, spawned another hit VH1 series starring the entire Norwood clan, “Brandy And Ray J: A Family Business,” which he created and executive produced.
