Tone Loc Collapses on Stage
Concert is canceled after rapper suffers a seizure.
Tone Loc’s concert in Des Moines, Iowa was cut short on Saturday after the rapper collapsed on stage.
According to reports, Loc suffered a seizure mid-concert and was attended to for five minutes on stage before the audience was asked to leave. There has been no official update on his current condition. As TMZ points out, this isn’t the first time the “Funky Cold Medina” rapper has collapsed during a show. He had similar incidents at a Florida concert in 2009, in Atlanta in 2011 and again in June 2012. He also suffered a seizure while watching a comedy show in August 2012. His manager attributed the August incident to food poisoning.
News of Loc’s collapse comes days after Lil Wayne suffered a series of seizures and was hospitalized in Los Angeles, where he is currently recovering. Fashion Police host and rock royalty Kelly Osbourne also suffered a seizure while taping her show in early March.
Hopefully, Loc is stable and recovering under the care of his doctors.
