Jay-Z releases album commercial during NBA finals

Jay-Z went in on Twitter and you know what he had to say was G.

Jay-Z is taking fans on a journey through the struggles of his career.  During the NBA finals on Sunday, the rapper and Samsung unveiled a commercial teasing Jay's upcoming 12th album Magna Carta Holy Grail.

The commercial also shows Jay-Z sketching out lyrics alongside Pharrell Williams, Swizz Beatz, Timbaland and Def Jam co-founder Rick Rubin.  The ad guides fans to the website MagnaCartaHolyGrail.com. 

Starting June 24th, fans will be able to download the album's mobile app on their smartphones.  The first 1 million Samsung Galaxy users to download the app will get a free copy of Jay's album 72-hours ahead of its July 4th release.

Jay-Z released his last album The Blueprint 3 back in 2009.
