Tyra Banks is the latest thing at premiere of 'A Time to Kill,' in sandals and no makeup

Tyra Banks, above at a 2012 event, was definitely un-glam at the Broadway opening for ‘A Time to Kill.’

Tyra Banks, above at a 2012 event, was definitely un-glam at the Broadway opening for ‘A Time to Kill.’

Flip-flops and no makeup? Not on the opening night of a big Broadway production, Miss Tyra Banks.
The model-turned “America’s Next Top Model” creator apparently forgot her shoes — and her manners — Sunday night at the premiere of “A Time to Kill,” showing up 20 minutes late in questionable shoes and an unmade face, one irritated guest tells Confidenti@l.
However, it was Banks’ diva-like behavior outside the John Golden Theatre on W. 45th St. that really ruffled our spywitness’ feathers.
“Tyra refused to walk the red carpet along with the other stars there, then tried to slip in through a side door,” laughed our tipster. “The theater does not not have a side door, so she came back and entered through the front doors like everyone else.”
Our source says Banks appeared to be “incredibly uncomfortable” when asked to pose on the red carpet.
“You would think that if anyone would be comfortable walking a carpet it would be a model,” says our source.
Apparently in no mood to be out, Banks also bolted up the aisle at intermission and hid in her chauffeured SUV outside the theater until she was told doors were closing for the play’s second act. Only then did she grace the audience with her presence again.
The opening-night crowd for the John Grisham novel-turned-play also included Barbara Walters. Another guest tells us she appeared to be wearing “a beautiful, but off-center wig.” Brooke Shields, Bobby Cannavale and Joan Rivers all strolled the carpet, with Rivers signing autographs for anyone and everyone.
“She even signed for tourists passing by,” says the guest.
Top cop Ray Kelly and wife Veronica made an appearance, with Veronica being escorted to the bathroom by security at intermission.
“Real Housewives of New York” star Countess LuAnn de Lesseps was was overheard gushing about Cannavale. “She was yelling across the aisle before the play, ‘Bobby is so hot! So hot!” says one audience member.
An after-party at the Bryant Park Grill followed the show, where Grisham shmoozed with David Hyde Pierce, Charlie Rose, John Rich, Brooke Shields, Patrick Stewart and Phylicia Rashad. At the bash, Walters made sure to get a picture taken with the writer, telling Grisham she wanted to show it off in the morning on “The View.”
