Rehab has been doing Chris Brown well because the brotha is looking good!
Proving once again that’s she’s gonna ride it out with her man, Karrueche arrived to a D.C. courthouse today with Chris as he faced misdemeanor assault charges for allegedly punching a 20-year-old man in October over an alleged photobomb. About a dozen screaming fans were at the courthouse waiting to see Chris, however, the U.S. Marshals were on deck, shutting down the first floor, blocking the entrance, and even getting physical with reporters.
Although the police reports state that the victim claims Breezy said, “I’m not down with that gay [expletive],” and “I feel like boxing,” before being assaulted, both Chris and his bodyguard, Chris Hollosy, rejected a plea deal because they say they’re not guilty. This means the case will go to trial.
The victim also says he suffered a broken nose and was treated at a local hospital while both Chris and his bodyguard spent two days in jail. Apparently prosecutors have video surveillance but there’s no word yet on what’s on the tape. According to Chris’ attorney, the bodyguard was just out to protect Chris.
Chris has been in rehab since November and is set to be in court once again on February 10 to update the judge on his status and progress. He also has more community service and graffiti removal to complete in addition to the 90 days. If convicted of this latest assault charge Chris is looking at a $1,000 fine and up to 180 days (six months) in jail.
