On a lighter note, Jim Jones finally came to his senses by asking Chrissy to marry him. It was certainly about time as we had to constantly endure episode after episode where Chrissy picked fights and bought herself “pain killers” to distract her from the fact that Jim hadn’t officially returned her previous proposal request by purchasing Chrissy a ring.
Last night’s episode of VH1′s Love & Hip Hop had a few touching moments as Jim Jones finally proposes to his longtime girlfriend Chrissy Lampkin and Kimbella Vanderhee opened up about her past.After last weeks explosive fight with newcomer Erica Mena, Kimbella had a sit down with Yandy Smith in an attempt to shed light on why her emotions hit the brink causing her to throw the glass which started the brawl.During Erica’s first meeting with Kimbella, she relayed a slew of negative comments to the model/actress.
But one in particular had Kimbella fuming as she was engaged in yet another scuffle which left fellow cast mates Yandy and Teairra Mari at a lost for words. Erica stated that Juelz Santana, Kimbella’s boyfriend and father of her son, was probably of cheating with the next chick…then all hell broke loose.Kimbella explained that her childhood was crazy, as she endured the antics of a cheater father and suicidal mother who was frequently pushed to the edge. She continued by expressing that she never wanted to be the woman her mother was, and she certainly didn’t intend on taking her children down that familiar path.“My upbringing was crazy. My dad, he had children by other women and I saw the hell that my mother had to go through, and I always said I would never be that woman. I’m really mad at my mom and I don’t think she even knows that, ‘You didn’t teach me nothing.’ Everything that I know is from me raising myself.”
Jim surprised Chrissy by following her to an all girls getaway in Miami and pulling her aside to engage in what initially appeared to be an argument but later turned out to be a proposal. While it was a long awaited moment for Chrissy, the special moment was ruined by her insistence that Jim traveled all the down to Miami to start beef. It didn’t help that Jim didn’t get down on one knee and truly set the mood. But, a proposal is a proposal and Chrissy could barely contain her emotions as she accepted Jim’s offer and the two sealed their union with a warm embrace. EVENTHOUGH I CANT STAND CHRISSY THIS SEASON IN “LOVE & HIP HOP”, U CANT DO NOTHING BUT RESPECT AND ADMIRE JIM LOVE FOR CHRISSY AND VICE VERSA. SHE’S A DOWN AS BITCH & JIMMY THE WAY HE EVEN LOOKS AT CHRISSY IS THE BEST LOVE EVER (SO CUTE), I HOPE I FIND DEEP LOVE LIKE THAT SOMEDAY. AND JIMMY SAID I AINT LIKE FAB, I AINT LETTING MY BITCH GET AWAY AND LEAVE ME JUST BECAUSE OF MY IMMATURITY. BUT THIS SEASON CHRISSY IS A BIG AZZ BULLY WITH A BIG AZZ MOLE ON HER DAM FACE. YANDY HASN’T DONE NOTHING WRONG TO CHRISSY & APOLOGIZED 1000 TIMES FOR THAT BOOK, AND OF COURSE DUE TO JIMMY BEING P@&$Y –WHIPPED HE AINT GONNA TRY AND MAKE THINGS BETTER. AND ONE DAY CHRISSY GONNA GET HER AZZ WHOOPED FOR BULLYING PEOPLE FOR NO APPARENT REASON, AND SHE TO OLD TO BE FIST FIGHTING ALL THE DAM TIME. SEASON 1 OF “LOVE & HIP HOP” CHRISSY HAS BULLIED: SOMAYA (BUT WOULD NEVER TRY TO SWING AT HER, CAUSE SHE KNOW SOMAYA WOULD TAP THAT AZZ. CHRISSY KNOW WHO TO PICK HER PHYSICAL FIGHTS WITH), JIMMY MOM (DISRESPECTING HER). SOMAYA SHORT-AZZ MANAGER. SEASON 2: KIMBELLA (WHOOPED HER AZZ FOR EMILY WEAK AZZ), YANDY SMITH, JIMMIES EX MANAGER (PICKED FIGHT BECAUSE OF HER JEALOUSY TOWARDS YANDY BEING AN INDEPENDENT WORKING WOMAN, AND TRIED TO FIGHT HER AS WELL). STAY TUNE TO SEE WHOM ELSE CHRISSY TRIES TO BULLY. SHE ALSO THINK THAT EVERYBODY IS SCARED OF JIMMY BECAUSE OF HIS ANGER PROBLEMS, SO THERE FOR SHE FEEL PROTECTED TO ACT A FOOL CAUSE SHE KNOW THAT JIM IS WRAPPED AROUND HER FINGER & HE AINT GONNA SAY NOTHING. EVEN WHEN YANDY HAS BEEN HIM & JUELZ MANAGER BEFORE A CHRISSY OR KIMBELLA EVEN CAME INTO THERE LIVES. SO HOW DARE JIM TAKE SIDES IN THIS WACK BEEF, WHEN HE COULD GROW BALLS & A D@%K AND PUT CHRISSY IN HER PLACE SOMETIMES. HE LET HER GET AWAY WITH MURDER AND WALK ALL OVER PEOPLE ALL THE TIME, BUT THERE PEAS IN A POD CAUSE THEY BOTH SUFFER FORM ANGER MANAGEMENT PROBLEMS. I LIKE KIMBELLA AND YANDY THE MOST, OLIVIA & EMILY ARE BOTH WEAK AND FOLLOWERS, SOMAYA NOT REALLY ON THE SHOW NO MORE (I MISS HER ON THE SHOW),ERICA MENA STARTED THAT FIGHT DUE TO JEALOUSY & SHE JUST WANTED TO GET THAT 15MINS OF FAME (YOU CAN SEE HOW THIRSTY OR COKED OUT SHE WAS WHEN MEETING YANDY ABOUT BECOMING A PROTENTIAL CLIENT) AND TIERRA MARI IS A GREAT, REFRESHING, FUNNY NEWCOMER THAT IS GREAT FOR THIS SHOW. NEVERTHELESS, IF IT TOOK 7YRS & AN ENGAGEMENT FOR CHRISSY THEN YOU KNOW ITS GONNA TAKE ABOUT 7-TO NEVER YRS TO ACTUALLY GET MARRIED. AND IF I WAS JIM I WOULDA BEEN GAVE THAT BITCH A RING TO SHUT HER AZZ UP FOR THE MEANTIME, THEN NEVER MARRY HER. MAYBE SHE WOULDA BEEN MORE NICER AND SO NOT BITCHY TO EVERYBODY INCLUDING JIMMY. BUT I WOULD LOVE TO SEE HOW LONG THIS MARRIAGE LAST, IF IT EVER HAPPENS. ALTHOUGH, I WILL BE KEEPING MY EYES WIDE OPEN BECAUSE I DO LOVE THE DRAMA AND “LOVE & HIP HOP” IS ONE OF MY FAV SHOWS.
