Kourtney Kardashian‘s pregnancy was turning into a Jessica Simpson story. Her belly kept getting bigger and bigger and we kept wondering when she would finally pop! The happy day arrived early yesterday, when Kourtney give birth to a baby girl, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A, who weighed in at 7 pounds, 14 ounces, as she came into the world. This means little Mason Disick, who will turn 3 in December, has a little sister! (We’re Mason fans around these parts.) Kourtney released a statement to E!, also adding in boyfriend-babydaddy Scott Disick‘s thoughts. She also dropped her newborn daughter’s name in there, so listen up! It read, “Scott and I are overjoyed to welcome our precious angel Penelope Scotland Disick into our lives. We are forever blessed. Mommy and baby are resting comfortably.”
That’s a really sweet name. Although we feel that Scott may have had a bit of a heavy hand in her middle name — Scotland. The land of Scott. We kid, guys. We love baby news so we’re going to put aside our misgivings about Disick for today. Mom Kris Jenner also put in a word about Kourtney’s all-natural delivery, saying, ”It was a great. She had an easy delivery. [Penelope] is so cute. She looks just like Mason. She’s so beautiful. We are so happy.” Sister Kim Kardashianalso typed in a congratulatory message on her Celebuzz page, which said, “Welcome to the world, Penelope Scotland Disick! Kourtney gave birth to a beautiful baby daughter on Sunday and the whole family is so thrilled to finally meet her! She is absolutely perfect! I am so excited to be an aunt again and can’t wait to spoil little Penelope. I know Mason is going to be the best big brother in the whole world. Congratulations Kourtney and Scott. Xo.” Happy news, indeed! Congratulations to the Kardashian-Disick clans. We can’t wait to see pictures of little Penelope.
