Dina Lohan, a Merrick resident and mother of Lindsay Lohan, was arrested Thursday after police said she was driving drunk while speeding on the Northern State Parkway.
According to New York State Police, at about 11 p.m., officers observed a white BMW heading westbound on the Northern State Parkway at 77 miles per hour. Lohan, 50, was pulled over just west of Rt. 135 in Syosset, where she was found to be intoxicated, cops said.

She was arrested and charged with: DWI & Aggravated DWI after a breath test revealed her BAC to be .20, more than twice the legal limit.
After being taken in by police for processing, Lohan alleged that she was injured during the arrest. Emergency personnel were called, but when they arrived, Lohan did not have any injuries and she allegedly recanted her claim.
She was issued traffic tickets for the two DWI offenses and speeding. She was later released to a sober third party, police said, and she's due to appear at First District Court on Sept. 24 at 9 a.m.
0f course I gotta give my little 2 cent$: OK, I agree that this lady does deserve to be an alcoholic, but she picked the absolute wrong time to get a DWI. After everything her daughter (Lindsey Lohan) has done & put her through, I'm surprise Dina hasn't had an incident in the public eye in such a huge way. And if Lindsay was still doing her", tweaking & smoking some of thee worst drugs in America (okay lol), then I would have been like "leave Dina alone", if your daughter was anywhere near hers you'll be drinking heavily as well. And its not just the embarrassing things her daughter is doing in the "public eyes", but what hurt the most is seeing your child being plummeted by the worst kind of people; Losers & , jealous computer thugs. But Lindsey had been in rehab for a couple of wks & word is, Lindsay is doing better than ever before. Lindsay needs her mom their for her now, than ever before. The word is that Lindsay, her mom & dad are trying to be supportive, but Lindsay is the adult right now. Because her mom is acting out, why? We may never know. Just weird how parents are now jumping on the "fun-train" & leaving her responsible, basically!
