Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry is engaged to Jose “Javi” Marroquin and she’s sharing her joy on Twitter!
“It’s true! We’re engaged!” Kailyn tweeted on Saturday Sept. 15, showing off her engagement ring in the process!

The mothers on Teen Mom 2 have shed a light into their personal struggles of raising kids at such a young age, and now Kailyn Lowry and cast mate Jenelle Evans have something else in common.
Like Jenelle, Kailyn reveals that she suffers from bipolar disorder. She discovered the diagnosis during a therapy session after a massive fight between husband Javi Morrquin and his family.
“My mom is bipolar, and it turns out I am too,” Kailyn tells Starcasm.net of the mental illness, which is also known as manic-depressive disorder and marked by severe mood swings.
“I just want to publicly apologize in advance to my fans and even though Javi and I have moved on from it, I want to say I’m sorry again to him and his family for letting my emotions get the best of me,” she tells the website. “I know how humiliating that is for them, and I’m humiliated myself,” she adds.
She didn’t elaborate on what the incident was, most likely because it was caught on film for season 4 of Teen Mom 2, and the moms are under contract and prevented from disclosing any shocking information that will end up on TV.
But it was the fight that urged her to seek counseling — during which she found out about the disorder and will soon be taking medication.
Kailyn Lowry broke the happy news of her engagement to boyfriend Javi Marroquin in September to all of her twitter followers, but now a close friend revealed a photo of the couple after they got married in a small ceremony at the courthouse!
But even though they had only been dating for about a year, the mom to Isaac, 3, had a special and specific reason to make things official so soon in the early fall.
“They wanted to get married before Javi left for the Air Force,” Kailyn’s friend Toni Ziegler told InTouch magazine about their September nuptials.
The magazine also revealed a photo of the happy couple — Javi’s ring finger clearly occupied by some bling — in front of their car with “Just Married!” inscribed in window chalk.
But even though the couple is already legally married, they are planning a bigger ceremony in the fall for all of their friend and family — especially Javi’s clan.
“Javi has a huge family,” Kailyn, 20, shares. “He already has seven groomsmen picked out!”
Although neither Kailyn or Javi have officially announced the good news yet — (if their courthouse ceremony was filmed, they may be under MTV contract) — the photo of the “Just Married” window message and their wedding bands is pretty convincing. Kailyn even wore an adorable white sundress, and her Twitter bio reads “Air Force wife.”
