Sunday evening, she was spotted boarding the 2 Train with A$AP Rocky as they headed to the MTV Video Music Awards in Brooklyn. During the ride to the Barclays, a passenger on the train posted a video to Instagram, which she captioned:
So im on the train right…i look over and who do i see but A$AP Rocky, Ferg, and Chanel Iman.
A$AP Ferg, who accompanied the couple, also posted a video to Vine:
The cop gonna ask me is this some type of trap lord promotion. No n-gga we just wanna ride the train!
The couple evidently made it to the red carpet on time, and afterward, they were spotted riding the train back up to Harlem (which was wise, after Katy Perry shut traffic down by performing under the Brooklyn Bridge.) Unfortunately, Chanel really didn’t seem enthused by the idea …

This past weekend, Chanel Iman had her first public outing with her boyfriend A$AP Rocky at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards and boy did he take her for a ride. After hoping on the 2 train from Harlem so that they could get to the Barclays on time, shortly after their arrival, A$AP almost got into a scuffle with security. According to eye witnesses, when they arrived, he jumped into the crowd to show love to the fans and security immediately made him get down which pissed him off. A scuffle almost ensued but Chanel hopped in the middle and was able to cool things down before the situation escalated any further.
The couple eventually walked the red carpet, but Chanel opted out of doing any interviews. Now, we sort of know why she seemed a bit tensed when A$AP attempted to kiss her on the carpet.

Just months after splitting with his ex-chick rapper Iggy Azalea, A$AP Rocky had the internet buzzing when he and Chanel posted a photo of themselves on Instagram wearing matching kicks. Months later, Chanel has confirmed their booed-up status after posting a photo of her straddled across Rocky’s lap and giving him a mean kiss. The caption read, “Thug Love.”
